Canadian Artist Holly Carr has created an unique installation entitled "Terrarium". 55 feet in circumference and 18 feet high with 10 foot walls you enter and are surrounded by flowers, insects and small animals.
Holly has woven art and natural history in a way that introduces one to the other.
Her main intent was to capture the ephemeral glimpses her memory provided of being young and in her uncles gardens. Plants, creatures and colours, one experience separate from time.

The Terrarium spent the summer of 2003 installed at The Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History . Holly is now looking for new venues for displaying the terrarium.
